Kinvest Farms
Cultivating Abundance
At Kinfresh, we take great pride in our parent company, Kinvest, which plays a vital role in our commitment to sustainable agriculture and the empowerment of farmers. Kinvest boasts an expansive network of 600 hectares of farms, meticulously organized into both field crops and orchards. This innovative approach allows us to maximize the productivity of our land while maintaining a harmonious balance between various crops.
Kinvest is founded on two core principles that drive our strategy. We seek to unlock maximum human potential and create generational economic change through local ownership.
OBJECTIVE
To help local entrepreneurs in Rwanda learn, develop, and cultivate farmland for the purpose of global distribution to achieve a sustainable local economy for the community.
Through Kinvest’s meticulous planning and resource allocation, we optimize the utilization of our farming land. This allows us to deliver a steady supply of high-quality products while minimizing waste and inefficiency. Our commitment to sustainable farming practices extends throughout the entire process, from planting and nurturing to harvesting and processing and ensures value to the farmers for generations to come.

Out-Grower
In addition to Kinvest's own farms, Kinvest works with more than 30,000 small hold farmers in Rwanda to bring their produce to market. Kinvest provides high quality inputs, farmer training, irrigation management to small hold farmers to catalyze high yield, high quality produce. Kinvest has developed markets in Asia, Europe and the Middle East for Rwandan produce thus ensuring that Rwandan farmers receive maximum value for their hard work.

Resources
We believe that access to resources shouldn't be a barrier to success for small farms. That's why we offer our network of farmers access to high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and equipment at competitive prices. Training and Capacity Building

Navigating the market can be challenging or even impossible for small farmers (say something about 45% waste here). As part of our out-grower program we navigate the local and international markets on behalf of small farmers. Leveraging our established networks and distribution channels, we open up value chains to customers who appreciate the quality and unique stories behind their products. Together, we forge partnerships that promote fair trade and ensure a sustainable livelihood for farmers.
